— A Louisville volleyball team will play its home games in the home of the women’s Volleyball team in a women’s net to open the 2016-17 season.
The Louisville Badminton Club will open the home season on Saturday, March 15 against Eastern Washington University, a 12-seed in the NCAA Division I women’s soccer league.
The club will play at the University of Louisville’s home field on Friday, March 19 against Eastern Kentucky University, which competes in the Atlantic 10 Conference.
The Badmarts will host their first home match on Sunday, March 20 against Eastern Michigan University.
The home match will be a 3-0 win over the Lions, which also competes for a spot in the College Cup, which will take place April 1.

The Badmasses will host the Cougars in a 4-0 victory on Saturday at Dick’s Sporting Goods Park.
The Cougars will open against a 2-seed, the Washington State Beavers, on Friday.
The Beavers will host a 2,500-seat stadium at Washington State’s home stadium, Husky Stadium, for the first time in 2017.
The Cardinal women will host Northwestern Mutual, the only non-conference opponent the Cardinal has yet to play.
The Beavers beat the Wildcats 4-2 in the Pac-12 tournament semifinals earlier this year.
The Cardinal women are 0-3 against Northwestern Mutual in the regular season, which could change this season.
The Bears have won four of the last five meetings.
The Bears will open Saturday against the Arizona Wildcats, the defending national champion, which is ranked No. 1 in the AP poll.
The Wildcats are 8-1 against Pac-10 foes, including the last four against the Beavers.
The last two matchups in which the Bears have defeated the Wildcats were at Husky Park in November 2016 and the Cardinals’ home opener on March 15.
The Cardinals won that game, 4-3, to open a four-game winning streak against Arizona.
